The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Hubby and I went to the movie theater to watch The Twilight Saga: New Moon even though I am already dilating LOL! I know it is crazy thing for me to go out and do something instead of just resting and relaxing in bed. But the movie theater where we went is just 5 mins. away from the hospital so it wasn't really that dangerous hehe! Before we leave the house to go to the theater I talked to my baby first not to come out yet til the movie is over LOL! And I am happy that he let me watched the movie :)

What a week!!

Nov. 17, 2009 (Tuesday 8:00AM)- We went to see the baby's kidney specialist and we found out that Zac is 6.5 lbs already (he was 4.5lbs last 3 weeks ago) and he is really doing well. The amount of fluid in his kidneys didn't increased. YAY! this happened 2 months in a row now kicking.gif

Nov. 17, 2009 (Tuesday 9:30PM)- I had contraction from 9:30PM - 11:30 PM and the interval is every 10 mins which is not good. I didn't call my OB yet instead we waited another hour to see if the contraction will stop or continue but apparently the interval got closer. It turned 5 mins. instead.

Nov. 18. 2009 (Wednesday 12:30AM) - We decided to call OB then she told me to go to the hospital right away but I told her if it is possible for me to observe more of myself here at home for another 2 more hours because I don't want to go to the hosp then its only Braxton Hicks. She said ok and asked me to take a warm bath and lay down in bed but she also told me that if I am still having contraction after I did those then we need to go to Labor and Delivery room of the hospital.

Nov. 18, 2009 (Wednesday 2AM) - I was in labor and delivery room then they attached devices on my belly to monitor on how many contractions I am having and to monitor the movement counts of the baby. We didn't had problems in regards baby's movement as he moves ALOT. They admitted me for 2 and half hours for monitoring then they gave me Terbutaline shot to stop the frequent contraction. I was only 34 weeks and 5 days pregnant that day so as much as possible they want to prolong the pregnancy. The Terbutaline made the contraction stopped so they discharged me at 4:30AM

Wednesday 1:40PM - went to OB for my monthly check-up then they asked me if I ever had contraction again after getting the shot. I said yes, only once since 12PM (time when I woke up) then around 2:10PM, I had another contraction while talking to my OB. She touched my belly to feel it, then another contracton after 20 mins. She decided to admit me again and this time she wants me to spend over night in the hospital to monitor my contraction again because I am 2cm dilated at the same time. Again, they attached those devices again on my belly to count the contraction. They gave me the shot again then the contraction stopped. They decided to discharge me 8PM instead of spending over night because the medicine they gave me made the contraction stopped. The OB said that if the shot didn't made the contraction they have to stay there at the hospital til the next day. Thank God! the med worked. They prescribed me Terbutaline (in a pill form) and asked me to take it every time I am having frequent contraction.

Friday 10AM - Appointment again to the OB and this time I am exactly 35 weeks (LMP). They checked my cervix and this time I am 4cm dilated. OB decided that I should stop taking Terbutaline since the baby is unstoppable to come out. According to her let my body do the thing. If its already time for him to be born then let it happen. Anyway, I am 37 weeks based on the ultrasound I had so that baby is already considered full term.

First post for my first son

Good News! Hubby and I went to baby Zac's kidney specialist last Tuesday (Nov. 17, 2009) and according to the specialist, baby Zac is doing pretty good :) He weighs 6.5 lbs. now (was 4.5lbs 3 weeks ago) and the fluid that they found in his kidneys is the same amount as last 3 weeks ago. Hoooraayy! I am so thankful to God about this news. I think that every mom is always praying and hoping for better life for their kid. This time, we were able to get photos via ultrasound of his lil tiny hairs. Aww! plus when the laboratory technician was taking profile pics of him, he opened and closed his eyes and lips for us. What a very memorable thing for me and my hubby.

Here are some of his photos that I wanna share :)
